Departure from Sambava at 6:00 am, arrival at the reception office in Manantenina at around 7:00 am

A quick drive will take you to the village of Mandena. At 7.30, you will start the walk towards Camp Mantella. You will reach the camp at around 11:00 am or 12:00 pm and enjoy a short visit to the Humbert waterfall after lunch. Swim or explore the surroundings of the camp for an encounter with the Bamboo lemurs.

After a picnic lunch at Mantella Camp 1, walk for an hour to Marojejya Camp II to find the famous "Simpona", the silky sifaka, which is covered with extremely white fur and which is observable only in this region.

Dinner and Overnight at Camp II

After breakfast (around 7:30 am), discover and appreciate the beauty of Marojejya Camp II, then continue the climb to Camp 3. On the way, discover the famous “Simpona” or silky sifaka, which is observable only in this region. After about a 3-hour walk, a lunch will welcome you at Simpona Camp III. In the afternoon, enjoy a break at the belvedere to admire the beautiful landscape at an altitude of 1,250m.

Dinner & overnight at Simpona Camp III

After an early breakfast (around 5:30 am or 6:00 am), walk for about 3hours to reach the top of the park, which is located at an altitude of 2,132m. Depending on the weather, you can enjoy a 360° view of the region. Descent to camp 3 for lunch and return to camp 2 for a 2nd Simpona meeting.

Dinner & overnight at Marojejya Camp III

After a leisurely breakfast at around 7am, free morning at Marojejya Camp. Then, lunch at 11 am, and descent around 12 pm. Walking time to the village of Mandena is between 3 and 4 hours. There, a car will be waiting for you to take you to Sambava, then till the Domaine d’Ambohimanitra.

Dinner and overnight stay at the Domaine d’Ambohimanitra

After breakfast around 9:00 am, visit the Ambohimanitra Estate (60ha): discover the vanilla plantation and the different varieties of vanilla plants, as well as the nurseries of local varieties. The tour is guided and covers in detail the planting and the mutilation process of the vanilla flower as well as all the phases from the flower to the vanilla pod.

To complete your immersion in vanilla, a vanilla-scented meal will be served to you on a terrace that will offer a panoramic view. In the afternoon, relax on our private beach.

Breakfast and light lunch at the Domaine d’Ambohimanitra. Then transfer for the Antananarivo flight.
